One name.
One promise.

MIK is not a brand agencies invented. It is a man's initials: Mohd Ishaq Khan, the founder whose name has been on the door since 1996, and whose one rule still runs this workshop today.

The early days, Al Qusais

A small dream with dirty hands

In 1996, Al Qusais Industrial Area was a place where things got made and fixed, not a place where brands were built. Mohd Ishaq Khan opened a small workshop there with no marketing plan and no slogan. What he had was a craftsman's hands, a stubborn respect for other people's money, and the belief that a garage should send a customer home knowing exactly what was done to their car and why.

In this trade that belief costs you money every single day. There is always an extra part that could be sold, a repair that could be invented, a customer who would never know. He refused. If it didn't need fixing, he said so and sent the car home.

“If it doesn't need fixing, say so.”

The rule the workshop has run on since day one

How trust compounds

Honesty turned out to be the best growth strategy nobody talks about. A customer who is told “this can wait” comes back for life, and brings people with them. The small workshop added bay after bay, service after service, mechanic after mechanic, funded not by investors but by returning customers.

Three decades, one direction

  1. 1996

    One man opens the doors

Mohd Ishaq Khan starts a small workshop in Al Qusais Industrial Area 1 with a few tools, a deep knowledge of engines, and a rule he refuses to break: tell the customer the truth, even when a lie pays better.

  2. 2000s

Word of mouth does the marketing

No advertising. Just fixed cars and straight answers. Customers send their brothers, their neighbors, their colleagues. The workshop grows the only way that lasts: one kept promise at a time.

  3. 2010s

    Everything under one roof

Engine, AC, electrical, suspension, paint and denting, diagnostics. Service by service, MIK grows into a complete garage, so the people who trust it never have to go anywhere else.

  4. Today

    The legacy continues

The founder's name is still on the door and his rule still runs the workshop floor. Thousands of cars later, MIK Garage remains what it was on day one: your friend on the road.

What his name means now

Plenty of garages are named after nobody. Ours carries a real man's name, which means every job leaves this workshop with a reputation attached. That is not pressure we avoid. It is the whole point. When your name is on the door, you fix cars like the owner is watching, because he is, and because the family intends to keep it that way for the next generation too.

So that is the story behind the three letters. Not a marketing department. A man, a promise, and almost thirty years of keeping it, five minutes from wherever you are in Al Qusais.

Come be part of the story.

Built on Trust: honest diagnosis, a clear quote before any work, and no upselling. Same as 1996.
