Why does my car AC stop cooling in summer?
The usual causes are low gas from a slow leak, a weak compressor, or a dirty condenser that can't shed heat in 45 degree traffic. A pressure test tells us which one it is, and we quote before touching anything.
Is a gas top-up enough to fix weak AC?
Only if there is no leak. Gas doesn't get used up. If your AC needs a refill every few months, you're paying for the same gas to escape. Fixing the leak once is cheaper.
